By registering for a workshop, booking an event, purchasing a product, or participating in an activity at Creative DIY Workshop, LLC (the “Workshop”), you acknowledge and agree to the following policies, terms, conditions, and waivers, as applicable.
1.1 Accuracy of Information
Participants are responsible for providing accurate project details, including spelling, names, monograms, colors, and design selections, at the time of registration. These details are used to prepare customized materials and stencils. Creative DIY Workshop is not responsible for errors resulting from incorrect information submitted by participants.
1.2 Project Changes and Customization Requests
Customized projects may not be available for registrations made within 72 hours of a scheduled workshop.
2.1 Non-Refundable Workshop Registrations
All workshop registration fees are non-refundable due to advance preparation, staffing, materials, and the customized nature of many projects.
2.2 Workshop Credits
Participants who cancel at least 72 hours before their scheduled workshop will receive a credit equal to the amount paid, valid for one (1) year from the date of issue.
Cancellations made with less than 72 hours’ notice, including no-shows, are not eligible for credits or refunds.
2.3 Workshop Cancellations by Creative DIY Workshop
Creative DIY Workshop reserves the right to cancel or reschedule workshops due to insufficient attendance, inclement weather, emergencies, or unforeseen circumstances.
If the Workshop cancels an event, participants will be offered a full refund or the option to reschedule.
3.1 Private Event Reservation Fee
A one-time, non-refundable $100 private event reservation fee is required to reserve Creative DIY Workshop exclusively for your group.
This fee applies to all exclusive private events, including children’s birthday parties, adult celebrations, corporate events, and other private gatherings.
The $100 fee is charged once per event, regardless of the number of participants. It is separate from all participant registration fees, project costs, birthday party packages, and optional add-ons. The reservation fee is not applied toward the event balance.
Your event date is secured once the reservation fee has been paid and your booking has been confirmed by Creative DIY Workshop.
3.2 Standard Private Events: 10-Person Minimum
All standard private events require a minimum of 10 paid participants.
If fewer than 10 participants register or attend, the event host is financially responsible for the remaining spots necessary to meet the 10-person minimum, calculated using the selected project pricing.
The 10-person minimum applies regardless of guest cancellations, no-shows, or changes in attendance.
Any outstanding balance required to meet the minimum is due no later than the scheduled event date.
When applicable, Take & Make kits will be provided for paid but unused participant spots.
3.3 Children’s Birthday Party Packages
Children’s birthday party packages include up to 10 participating children, including the birthday child.
The full selected birthday party package price applies regardless of whether fewer than 10 children attend.
Additional children beyond the 10 included in the package will be charged the applicable per-child rate for the selected package.
Optional activities, upgrades, and add-ons are charged separately unless specifically included in the selected package.
The one-time $100 private event reservation fee applies in addition to the birthday party package price.
Unused birthday party spots do not automatically qualify for Take & Make kits unless specifically included in the package or agreed upon by the Workshop.
3.4 Group Events During Regular Workshop Hours
Groups may choose to celebrate together during regular workshop hours without reserving the entire facility exclusively.

3.5 Mandatory 72-Hour Registration Deadline
All guest registrations, project selections, customization requests, and final attendance counts must be completed at least 72 hours before the scheduled event.
For standard private events, if fewer than 10 participants are registered by the deadline, the host remains financially responsible for the remaining spots required to meet the minimum.
For children’s birthday parties, the selected birthday package price remains unchanged if fewer than 10 children attend.
Cancellations, no-shows, or reductions in attendance within 72 hours of the event do not reduce the agreed financial obligation.
Late additions may be accepted at the Workshop’s discretion, subject to staffing, materials, and project availability. Customized projects may not be available for late registrations.
3.6 Private Event Cancellations
Cancellation by the Host
If the host cancels an exclusive private event, the $100 reservation fee remains non-refundable.
Individual participant registrations are subject to the cancellation and credit policies outlined in Section 2.
Cancellation by Creative DIY Workshop
If Creative DIY Workshop cancels an event due to weather, emergencies, insufficient attendance, or other unforeseen circumstances, the host and participants will be offered a full refund of amounts paid or the option to reschedule without an additional reservation fee.
3.7 Final Payment Responsibility
The event host is responsible for ensuring that all applicable minimum participation requirements, package charges, and additional fees are satisfied.
Any outstanding balance must be paid no later than the scheduled event date.
4.1 Returns and Refunds
Eligible retail purchases may be returned within 48 hours of receipt for a refund, excluding shipping and handling fees.
4.2 Customized Items
Personalized and custom-made items are generally non-refundable unless otherwise required by applicable law.
Creative DIY Workshop may take photographs and video recordings during workshops, classes, and events for marketing, advertising, and promotional purposes, including social media, websites, and printed materials.
By participating, you grant Creative DIY Workshop permission to use your image and likeness in promotional materials, subject to applicable law and any properly submitted opt-out request.
Photo and Video Opt-Out
Participants who do not wish to be photographed or recorded for promotional purposes must email info@creativeDIYworkshop.com with the subject line “NO PHOTO” before their scheduled event.
Parents or legal guardians may submit an opt-out request on behalf of participating minors.
6.1 Assumption of Risk
I acknowledge that participation in Creative DIY Workshop activities may involve inherent risks associated with tools, equipment, chemicals, fragrances, heat sources, sharp objects, and other crafting materials.
I voluntarily accept the ordinary and inherent risks associated with my participation.
6.2 Release of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Pennsylvania law, I release Creative DIY Workshop, LLC, its members, managers, employees, instructors, and representatives from claims arising from the ordinary risks of participation, including claims based on ordinary negligence, to the extent such claims may lawfully be released.
This release does not apply to claims that cannot legally be waived.
6.3 Participant Responsibility
Participants agree to follow all safety instructions, use equipment appropriately, and exercise reasonable care.
Participants may be held financially responsible for damage to Workshop property or equipment resulting from negligence, intentional misconduct, or misuse.
6.4 Personal Use and Product Safety
Projects created during workshops are intended for personal use unless otherwise authorized in writing.
Participants are responsible for reviewing ingredient information and notifying staff of known allergies or sensitivities before using materials.
Patch testing is recommended for skin-related products, including soaps, lotions, perfumes, and body sprays.
Creative DIY Workshop cannot guarantee that participants will not experience allergic reactions or sensitivities. Nothing in this section excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Food and beverages consumed, prepared, or brought into the Workshop may present risks, including allergic reactions, cross-contact, or foodborne illness.
Creative DIY Workshop does not guarantee an allergen-free environment and cannot accommodate every dietary restriction.
Participants are responsible for notifying staff of severe allergies and exercising appropriate caution.
Alcoholic beverages, when permitted, may only be consumed by individuals 21 years of age or older and must comply with applicable laws and Workshop rules.
Creative DIY Workshop’s original designs, stencils, instructional materials, workshop curriculum, photographs, videos, and digital content are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Unauthorized copying, reproduction, commercial distribution, or resale of protected Workshop materials is prohibited without written permission, except as permitted by law.
Participants under 18 must have a parent or legal guardian review and sign the applicable participation agreement and waiver.
Parents and guardians are responsible for providing accurate information about participating minors, including any relevant safety concerns or allergies.
Parents and guardians acknowledge the risks of the activities and agree to the applicable participation terms to the extent permitted by law.
Participation in supervised youth programs does not eliminate the inherent risks associated with crafting activities.

These terms apply to bookings made after their effective date. Earlier bookings remain subject to the terms agreed to at the time of reservation, unless the parties agree otherwise.
