Creative DIY Workshop Policies and Waivers
Registration Policy
- Item Selection & Customization: Provide accurate project details at registration to ensure proper preparation of stencils and materials. Double-check the spelling and information.
- Item Change Requests: Changes made within 72 hours of the workshop incur a $10 stencil recut fee, payable at the start of the workshop. Changes made earlier than 72 hours are free of charge. If a new customized stencil cannot be created during the workshop, a comparable one will be provided.
DIY Workshop Cancellation Policy
- Non-Refundable Registration Fees: Registration fees are non-refundable, as most materials are customized.
- Workshop Credits: Cancellations made at least 72 hours before the workshop will receive a credit for future use, valid for up to one year.
- Workshop Cancellations by Us: We reserve the right to cancel workshops due to low attendance, inclement weather, or emergencies. Participants will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule.
Private Event Workshop Policy
- Registration Requirements: All attendees must register and provide project details at least 72 hours in advance. Late registrations may choose from available shop items, but customizations may not be possible.
- Private Parties: A minimum number of participants is required. A deposit secures your event and is non-refundable. If the minimum number of guests is not met, no refund will be given, but the product may be taken home.
- Cancellations: Deposits are non-refundable if you cancel. If we must cancel due to low attendance, inclement weather, or emergencies, your deposit will be fully refunded.
Retail Item Purchase Policy
- Refunds: Refunds for retail purchases are available within 48 hours of receipt, excluding shipping and handling fees. Customized items may not be fully refundable.
Photo Consent Policy
- Marketing Use: Photos taken during workshops or of event designs may be used for marketing. To opt out, email info@creativeDIYworkshop.com with “NO PHOTO” in the subject line.
Safety Waiver
By participating in Creative DIY Workshops or being on our premises, I acknowledge and agree to the following:
- Assumption of Risk: I recognize the inherent risks involved, including exposure to tools, chemicals, and materials. I assume full responsibility for any injury, allergic reaction, skin irritation, or damage to personal belongings.
- Indemnification & Release: I agree to indemnify Creative DIY Workshop against any claims, damages, or costs arising from my participation. I release the Workshop from liability for any injury, loss, or damage, including adverse reactions to products.
- Responsibilities: I agree to follow all policies, safety rules, and exercise reasonable care during workshops. I accept responsibility for any damage caused to tools, equipment, or facilities.
- Products for Personal Use: Items created are for personal use only and not for resale unless specified. Patch testing is recommended for skin-related items.
Food & Beverage Safety Waiver
I acknowledge that food and beverages consumed or created during workshops may carry risks, including allergic reactions or foodborne illnesses. Creative DIY Workshop is not responsible for meeting dietary or allergy-related needs. Participants must inform staff of allergies and exercise caution.
Acknowledgment & Agreement
By purchasing a ticket or product, I affirm that I have read, understood, and agree to these policies and the safety waiver. I acknowledge that this limits certain legal rights, including the right to sue, and I voluntarily accept these terms.
